Beautiful in your own way

As a girl, I grew up idolizing the women I saw in magazines, hoping that maybe someday, when I finally grew up, I would look in the mirror and see that same beauty in myself. But nahhh that didn't happen 😞

💕What does beautiful really mean?💕

Fair skin? Fuller lips? 👄 Higher cheek bones? Tall and slim? 💃
All these are the usual descriptions we would hear if we asked random people. 

We have to admit that we live in a society that look up to people with physical appearances. Television, movies, magazines and billboards all display attractive people. We see both men and women running to plastic surgeons, having many different kinds of procedures done simply to become more beautiful. Our society is obsessed with physical beauty, and many women are caught up in that obsession as well. 

However, in my opinion, beautiful is a pleasing thing or person. Even in the dictionary, the word beautiful means pleasing the senses or mind aesthetically. Men can be beautiful 💁 But maybe the way they are beautiful is different than women.

💕What makes a beautiful man?💕

Ever heard of the saying, "An intelligent man will open your mind, a handsome man will open your eyes and a gentleman will open your heart" ? For me, a beautiful man has all the three characteristics 😍 A good-looking man is always an attractive one, but when he shows his good manners and his cleverness, it’s even better. Many of the boys forget about the good manners and act like they have no obligations at all. We’ve almost forgot how a real man should look like. There are many things that men nowadays do not respect and moreover, many of them behave unjustly towards the female gender. To think about it again, I once heard "maybe, the young men that you meet haven’t yet grown up." I have to agree with that, well yeah we can clearly see that in our class 😂So girls out there, if you found a beautiful man, do tell me! I haven't found one yet hahaha.

💕What makes a beautiful woman?💕

A woman who’s beautiful is more than just physically attractive. She’s intellectually attractive. She’s emotionally attractive. When you find a beautiful woman, yes you can’t keep your eyes off of her, but you also always want to be around her because she’s that intriguing. We know that not all women are gifted with perfection of physical features, but fortunately, this is not the only thing to define beauty. Another key factor of womanly beauty is looking feminine. This can be achieve through the way we dress (and hairstyle). A beautiful woman is not only admired for her physical appearance; she is admired for her inner qualities as well. There are many inner qualities that make a woman beautiful, and to cover all of them would require a separate entry 😂

Lastly, I would like to say that deep down inside we all know we are suckers for a pretty face. I don't know a single woman/man who has not mad-crushed on a beautiful man or woman endlessly.
