The objectiveness of subjectivity

Hi guys! You must've missed me already right? hahaha. Well, in this entry I'll be talking about something that's quite sensitive and personal to me, BEAUTY. Tbh, I don't really like to talk about this topic because it makes me even more insecure with myself 😭😭😭 But some friends of mine once told me to do one thing that scares you everyday, so here it is!

What makes someone beautiful? Well from what I can see there'll be two types of answers when one answers that question.

1. Gives physical characteristics (e.g fair skin, long hair, slim)
2. It's the inner part that matters

My answer is I agree with both. Well it's undeniable that we consider someone's looks to call him/her beautiful right? Plus, that's what gives us the first impression on that person (well, most of the time). But it's unfair to only take that into consideration right? I mean, once we get to know someone we won't really care about how they look, instead we'll look more into their inner self. And I don't think that anyone would only care about someone's manners or behaviour. So we tend to consider both but to a certain extent.

Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but somehow stereotypes are making this proverb a bit restrained. The media has somehow manipulated the way WE see beauty. Fair skin, hourglass body, lean physique and flawless skin are just a few of the many characteristics that makes one beautiful. Making us that don't have those feel insecure with how we look and feel ugly (ugly sounds too harsh but naaah). And yes, me may seem ugly to some (or a lot of) people, but just believe that there are those that find beauty in the little things you have. Maybe your smile, or your chubby cheeks? Even maybe your pimples hahhaha. But, to what extent is this true? Omg I'm sounding so TOK-ish right now 💁

So to all you beautiful boys and girls (and Miss Shereen hehe) who are reading this, know that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL in your own way. As hard as it is for me to say this, but truth in this case is independent. If you believe that you're beautiful, then you are! Just embrace everything that you have and love yourself! I'm struggling with this too, but hey we're in this together right? I mean why waste your life being insecure with YOURSELF when you have the chance to love it as much as you want to? I'm sorry if this entry is quite long haha, but I really hope that you guys get what I'm trying to say here. So I guess I'm gonna go now, but before that I've something for you guys! 😉

Just so you know this Louis Tomlinson from One Direction aka my celebrity crush hehe. Soooo till we meet again. Bye! :)

  4. Inner beauty is something we find only when we get to know a person. So yeah, always go deeper.. don't just look at the cover! :)
